Rosemead Elementary School District's schools enrolled 2,334 students in the 2022-23 school year, 1.4% more than the previous year, according to the California Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 52.3% of them were boys, and 47.7% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were Asian, making up 55.7% of the Rosemead Elementary School District's total enrollment.

Rosemead Elementary School District covers five schools within Los Angeles County with its main office in Rosemead.

Among the five schools in Rosemead Elementary School District, Mildred B. Janson Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 596 students in the 2022-23 school year.

In the last decade, enrollment in California elementary and secondary schools rose by at least 5%, while high school enrollment dropped 5%.

However, overall enrollment in California public schools is sliding, and the Public Policy Institute of California expects it to drop another 8% by the 2031-32 school year.
